HIStory of Christmas
Join us for a tour of Christmas that blends the story of Jesus' birth with the history and traditions of the Christmas season. As you begin the tour, it will seem as if you are being transported through time as you experience the very first Christmas at the birth of Jesus in Bethlehem. As the tour continues, vintage displays from different eras will surely make you think you have left the 21st Century as you remember moments from your Christmas pasts.
Our tour, will include:
- A live Nativity
- A collection of Nativities from around the world
- A collection of toy trains and village scenes
- Store fronts filled with dolls and toys from different eras
including mechanical dolls from store holiday displays
- Antique and Vintage Christmas displays
- 30 decorated themed Christmas trees
- A visit from Santa for the children
Our tour closes with a visit to a traditional Christmas market offering gingerbread, cookies, paper stars and other goodies for purchase. All proceeds to benefit local food banks and the Brian Morden Foundation (brianmordenfoundation.org).
